The Dodge WC series, nicknamed "Beeps", [nb 3] and at first (from 1940–1942), nicknamed jeeps, [11] [12] [nb 4] [nb 5]) is a prolific range of light 4WD and medium 6WD military utility trucks, produced by Chrysler under the Dodge and Fargo marques during World War II.

The M6 37 mm Gun Motor Carriage, 3/4-ton, 4×4 (M6 GMC) or "M6 Fargo Gun Motor Carriage with 37mm Anti-tank Gun" (Dodge WC-55), was a modified WC-52. It was designed and built to carry the shielded M3A1 37mm anti-tank gun, mounted on its cargo bed in portee configuration, facing rearward, although it can pivot 360°.

The Dodge WC Series was a range of military vehicles produced from 1940 until 1945. The WC Series was available in a wide number of configurations built on 4x2, 4x4, or 6x6 drivetrains. Three main platforms were available: 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 1/2 ton.

The WWII Dodge ½ ton WC were produced in 3 series from fall of 1940 to May 1942. The first series are the T207 engine code, models WC1 through WC11 The second series are the T211 engine code models WC12 through WC20
