2006年12月18日 · I'm planning on buying a new saw this year. Was planning on a Stihl or Husquavana until I priced them out - expensive. One of our local stores sells Dolmar and has a sale on the PS-540. Looks like a pretty solid saw, although everything I've read about mid-size Dolmar saws refers to the ps-5100. The 5100 runs at a higher RPM but is heavier.

2010年1月27日 · Dolmar saw the problem, and it was us: dealers and users! Dolmar warranty people say set carb up right and maintain it well (synthetic oil, clean saw and sharp chain) = few problems. In addition, while they won't say it publicly, Tru South's synthetic/89 octane gas mix or Avgas will avoid ethanol issues and is better than mogas with stabilizer!

2009年10月26日 · Dolmar-No Support After 30 years my Sachs-Dolmar 118 gave out, and I contacted 4 eastern Mass. "dealers" listed on the Dolmar website to try to get a Dolmar 5105. Three said that even though they're listed as dealers, they don't stock (or even show any willingness to order) Dolmar saws because of lack of support.

All quality saws with above average performance . Unfortunately to compete in the saw market Professional grade components have been deleted in the economy saw line up .

2023年1月4日 · Well its quite well known on here that I like the Sachs Dolmars a lot and the 120si is a real worker. I own and run a dozen of the Dolmars and the si saws are always a little more powerful than the models without this designation.
