2011年10月31日 · The Dolmar 350 has a smidge more power then the 170, and a little more weight. Spec wise, they're pretty close. I can't speak to the Dolmar's build quality. Others can chime in on that. If you like the 350, then get it. But if you're gonna get a second saw, you might want to consider a little more power, to better compliment the 170.

My 2010 Dolmar brochure lists the PS-350 powerhead at 10.6 lbs, and the PS-420 at 10.6 lbs How can this be? They both list identical specs other than the weight. What could have changed to add 1.6 lbs to a 35cc saw?

2010年5月19日 · I was just looking around for info about the Dolmar PS-420 and found a link to the 2011 Dolmar catalog. It lists the PS-350 SC and PS-420 SC along with a line stating (in German) "Now with even more power". The specs for the PS-350 SC is 1.7 kW / 2.3 hp and the PS-420 SC is 2.2 kW / 3.0 hp.

2011年9月26日 · The model that would be great running a 16-18 inch bar would be the Dolmar ps 460 they run around 320 or so and are a professionaly made mid-size saw that will last a life time. But it all depends on delaer support in your area if you dont know how to fix saws espically dolmar its nice to have a delaer that knows how.

2008年3月15日 · It actually might be more economic to use less oil and get another bar if you find the bars cheap. Not built like the dolmar 350-420 kind of saw you should be able to find a lot on if you search this site but is is a bit lighter smaller and to me seems to handle better. I have no Idea how many log trucks it could dice up before being used up.

2008年12月8日 · I demo the PS350 against the MS250's several times a week since the ms250 is popular! Yes the stihl will beat the Dolmar 350 but it is pretty close usually and the stihl is a 45cc saw and the Dolmar 350 is a 35cc saw! The 420 that I have has been beating the ms250's. Quality between the two Dolmar has to me the clear advantage!
