Donner Summit - CA State Parks
Donner Summt is located on the south side of I-80 at the Castle Peak exit beyond Boreal Inn. Recommended Activities: Cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snow play. There are no hills for sledding at this location.
SNO-Parks
Park and drive carefully within SNO-Park sites. Watch for pedestrians. Overnight parking, including in-vehicle camping is allowed except where noted or signed at SNO-Park sites.

A SNO-Park permit is required for each vehicle parked at a SNO-Park site from November 1 through May 30 of each year. Permits come in two types: Day Permits $15.00 and valid for a single day; Season permits $40.00 and cover the full SNO-Park season
