2024年2月4日 · I'm wondering if Doom is any good on Blizzard sorc and how good it is. I'd like to get to running P7 chaos sanc runs but I'm lacking damage to do it efficiently. I'd be sacrificing the ability to make plague, grief, and CTA runewords.

The info below is how much more ias you need for each breakpoint (above the 45 you get from doom). Also assuming your using this on act 2 merc? With gpa: 0 ias - 5.5 ticks 18 ias - 5 ticks 60 ias - 4.5 ticks

2020年4月25日 · Doom is a very expensive (Ohm, Lo, and Cham), and very subpar runeword: -Even though it has +2 to skills, it doesn't offer any other caster bonuses. Lack of FCR/stats/resists only compounds to that; a Fathom/HotO will greatly out-damage it.

2023年2月18日 · -Res from Doom is not affected by the 1/5th penalty like conviction from infinity and new Cold Mastery changes in patch 2.6. So for cold immunes broken by sunder charm, -60 res is huge now, since your -200 CM is only getting you -40, plus another -17 from 1/5 infinity... so you're doubling your -Res against immunes.

2021年7月14日 · Doom as of the time of my post is now available in Staves/swords and has a few changes, -30 to -50% reduced cold resist (down from -40 to -60%) and +30% faster cast added for staves only. A good staff base could have +3 cold skills, +3 frozen orb and +3 cold mastery (good luck finding that one).

Doom is a good choice, especially if you can grab one for cheap. Doom works at full strength, even against sundered mobs. Technically, you can utilize both Doom and a Death's fathom on spells like Blizzard. Cast the spell using fathom to get the +damage, and then swap to doom to lower the enemies' resistance.

2023年3月12日 · Add the Doom's -res and it's 5k, a 10x increase. I'm using 2x 5/5 facets as well. Again non-immunes you obliterate them regardless of build but with Death's Fathom your immune damage stalls a decent amount.

2022年7月9日 · r/Doom • I finished doom 2016 for the first time recently in ultra violence. One of the best gaming experiences in my whole life, if not the best. Im trying eternal next, cant wait to see why people hate marauder!
