El Coquí (translated in English as The Coquí) is the 18 th episode of Dora the Explorer from Season 1. In production order, it is the 21st episode of Season 1. Dora and Boots meet El Coquí, a frog who sings beautifully on his faraway island. But now that he's a long way from home, Coquí has lost his voice and can't sing!

Dora explains that this little frog is called a coquí, just like its song. "Coquí-coquí!" Unexpectedly, an actual coquí frog comes over. Look, it’s a little frog, and he has a guitar (una guitarra)! Boots thinks this frog looks exactly like the picture of the coquí in book. Dora believes it actually IS a coquí. Maybe he’ll sing for us!

The Fiesta Trio are a group of main characters in Dora the Explorer. A cymbal-playing snail, an accordion-playing grasshopper, and a drum-playing frog make up this festive musical combo, who pops up to play a celebratory riff every time Dora and Boots make it past an obstacle.
