PC-DOS 2.0 was IBM's PC-specific adaption of MS-DOS 2.0. Version 2.0 introduced various features inspired by Xenix, a variant of Unix sold by Microsoft. These features included subdirectories, file redirection, and file handles. DOS 2.0 also introduced loadable device drivers, hard drive support, and 9-sector 180k/360k floppy disk support.
