Doyon, Limited, the regional Alaska Native corporation for Interior Alaska, is a for-profit corporation with more than 20,700 shareholders. Headquartered in Fairbanks, Alaska, Doyon employs over 1,300 individuals in Alaska and across the nation.

In addition to 37 villages and 26 village corporations, Doyon also has within its boundaries the tallest mountain in North America, four military bases, the longest rivers in the state, the second largest city (Fairbanks), and the largest number of highways.

Doyon welcomes nominations for the shareholder spotlight featured monthly in the Doyon e-newsletter and quarterly in the printed newsletter. The shareholder spotlights, implemented in June 2013, have previously recognized individuals, Doyon shareholder interns, facilities training graduates, and Doyon Foundation alumni.

The Doyon Settlement Trust (DST) distribution is a cash distribution to the trust’s primary beneficiaries (Doyon shareholders). The DST distribution is based upon the number of Doyon shares owned by each beneficiary.

Doyon is focusing attention on forest management practices to reduce the severity of wildfire as a result of a changing climate. Focusing on forestland creates additional benefits, including air and water quality protection and the enhancement of wildlife habitat.

Since 2002, we’ve served a diverse range of commercial businesses and government entities nationwide. In 2023, Doyon, Limited created Doyon Technology Group which serves as the management company for Arctic IT, Arctic IT Government Solutions, and designDATA.

The shareholder records department (records) manages the probate of Doyon, Limited stock after a shareholder passes away. As per ANCSA, Doyon’s probate process follows the laws of the State of Alaska. Shares transfer in accordance with a Stock Will or General Will if one exists.
