So without further ado, I present my “Not-sure-if-Dragon” Dragonborn Monk Build. I modeled my build off of the stats of the Brass Dragon Wyrmling from the Monster Manual. These stats and abilities seemed like ones I would most likely be able to mimic. I have made the numbers close to it as well, with the exception of Dexterity and Wisdom.

2015年1月27日 · Hey Playground. I've been mulling over the idea of a Str based monk using point buy and I can't really get the idea to work. We recently had a new player start up a dragonborn monk and built woefuly ineffective. We had to rework her character to pump up dex and wis but she still feels a bit week compared to the rest of the party.

2024年9月27日 · If you are fine with "vanilla 2024 Grappler Monk living his best life", you could just go: * Sailor for Tavern Brawler (but really pick your fav), * Goliath (for even faster movement, a PB/day debuff, and a daily getting Large) or Aasimar/Dragonborn (for daily flight), and * Grappler at level 4.

I then took it a step further with the vow of poverty from the Book of Exalted Deeds. After that I saw the dragonborn description on RoTD and decided to switch.
