Druss (1166–1226) was a fierce Drenai warrior and hero who fought in many wars, wielding his trademark battle-axe Snaga. His skill in battle earned him a fearsome reputation throughout the world, and he was known by many titles.

But Raven Armoury have produced a weapon that is splendidly crafted, beautifully balanced, and aesthetically superb. It is not just a replica, but an axe that Druss the Axeman himself would have been delighted to wield.

With his dying breath, Druss' father tells him to fetch the family battle-axe (Snaga), which was stolen by his grandfather Bardan. Druss meets the hunter Shadak, who is hunting the slavers to avenge the death of his son, and they join forces to pursue them.

Druss the Legend is a hero embodying virtue, courage, honour, chivalry and strength of character. Druss is the grandson of Bardan the Slayer, a psychotic madman driven insane by the demon residing within his rune covered enchanted axe, Snaga the Sender (Druss later exorcised the demon while looking for his wife Rowena).

Druss, dressed in black and silver and bearing a mighty axe, stood upon a hillside. From the axe-blades came a great host of souls, flowing like smoke around their grim killer. Deathwalker!
