Ducane vs Goodman...or something else? - HVAC-Talk
My HVAC system will need to be replaced and money is my primary consideration. I have two options so far. The first is an 80% efficient Ducane (gas furnace and AC) system. The second option is a 96% efficient Goodman unit...it’s around the same price. Thing is, the unit will be sitting in a closet in our master bedroom.

2007年4月12日 · I dont know what the focouse on goodman and ducane is all about but to compare the two most popurler low end peices of equipment you might want to see what the better fit would be (in the attic) ducane is a better dedicated horizonal unit and goodman is a better multiposition unit either way you go you still get a good 25 year heat exchanger warrenty.Its the contractor that should tell you ...

2015年4月27日 · The Ducane offers a 10 year warranty, ask the Lennox guy if he can match it, otherwise get the Ducane. My initial inclination is to go with the Lennox because it's a better known brand, but if you have an HVAC Contractor that will support the Ducane, and back it up with the parts warranty, then there is nothing wrong with going with the Ducane.

From what I can tell, these are both pretty basic systems without the ECM motor, etc. My question is this. Is there a functional/quality difference between the Ducane and the Armstrong?

2008年1月29日 · We do not install Ducane as much as we use to. But, you will not go wrong with Ducane. A primary factor to consider for any manufacturer is parts availability. Where I live, Goodman parts are more readily available than Ducane. And Ducane is more readily available than Trane. And, Trane is more readily available than Lennox. Get my drift.
Ducane 13 seer and ADP coil is it a good match?? - HVAC-Talk
2008年7月3日 · Hi, my house just installed a Ducane 13seer air conditioner and York 91% Furnace by a contractor, but the contractor installed a ADP coil with the system ( he told me that is Ok because the coil is for 13 seer), I can't find any data to proof that the coil is a wrong one for the Ducane air conditioner!

2012年8月7日 · Both built in the Mexico plant. Compressor, coil, fan motor. Concord can be had with or without a cabinet. With a cabinet, louvers go a different way than Lennox. Concord furnaces are just a Lennox furnace with a different board & ignitor. Both made in Marshalltown. We usually slap the Air Ease name on a Concord being an Air Ease dealer.
