2020年4月9日 · The Dunlop is a Sport tire and the Michelin is a more general purpose or Sport Touring-type tire. The Q3+ will probably give you half (maybe less) the tire life of the Road 5. I have yet to use a Sport Touring tire that cant be pushed really hard for aggressive street use.

2023年3月6日 · I only used the Q2 or 3 on the front except for the track days. On the street, I used a Dunlop RoadSmart 2 or 3 on the rear with the Q2 or 3 up front and could change them as a set at about 4000 miles. BTW, I was able to mount the latest Q3 rear and it did not require any weights to balance. Nice.

2015年7月16日 · I changed from Q3+ to R5's and my take is the Q3+ is just slightly better on dry roads when really pushing hard in the curves. Q3+ would be good track day tire. The R5's are excellent in the wet and good in the dry and last longer. Since sport touring is more my riding style I will be staying with the R5's until something better comes along.

2017年5月12日 · I've been running the Q3+ 's for around 800 miles now, and so far, the wear has been very good, and they're even not too bad in the cold (was in high 30s / low 40s F here in Northern VA yesterday). Surely not as good in the cold/wet as my Michelin Pilot Road 4+'s, but as good as they are, they turn + transition like a tank in comparison.

2014年6月10日 · The Roadsmart 2 is not comparable to the D214. The D214 is pretty trash. The Roadsmart 2 is a Sport Touring tire, one of the best out. It has the same profile as the Q2/Q3 but sacrifices a little grip for much more mileage and better wet weather traction.

2020年8月6日 · Finally time to move on from those stock tires on my 2017 and upgrade. I've been planning on Dunlop Q3+ front/rear for a while, and I'm going to order today. Just want to make sure this is still basically the best choice when it comes to grip and control on the FZ, and there isn't a much better "go to" tire I could be missing out on.
