This is Jim Dunn's car with the most remembered paint job. Dunn started racing in the early 1950s and is still racing today in NHRA as an independent Top Fuel Funny Car owner. It won the 1968 Irwindale Grand Prix, the 1969 Bakersfield March Meet and was the 1969 NHRA Division 7 Championship winner which covered California, Arizona, and Hawaii.

Competition resins makes a body of the rear engine car, but the one I bought was really warped and needed too much work to be useable. Did they suggest using the Monogram Troublemaker El Camino chassis as a donor for that resin body or is the builder supposed to scratch build the chassis?
