Dutch's philosophy is the philosophy of Red Dead 1 as a whole, just taken to its most violent extreme. Dutch wasn't a monster, he was just ahead of the curve.

Bill is killed by Marston, while Dutch jumps off a cliff himself. John Marston gets betrayed by the Lawmen and is executed in 1911.

2019年1月7日 · Instead of saying Dutch had planned to escape John at the end of RDR1, you could honestly say that when Dutch and Arthur jump from the cliff it is not very likely that Dutch knew that they would've landed in the river- Dutch nearly got Arthur killed with him by jumping out of blind faith and absolute desperation off a ridiculously high cliff.

2023年2月25日 · People like to forget this fact. They did in fact get away with the money due to Dutch's escape plan. The only reason they lost it was a deus ex machina hurricane. I don't think you can blame Dutch for freak weather occurrences and plot contrivances. That all being said, yes, Dutch has one plan. Get money, run away.

After Arthur dies and John leaves Dutch no longer had anything to live for so instead he was going out in a blaze of glory surrounded by his rhetoric of life and society and blinded by his thirst for money, power, and greed.

Arthur is not mentioned, no. Dutch is talked about quite a lot and is in a few cutscenes, as are other characters from RDR2 (bill, Javier, Edgar Ross, jack marston, Johns wife, Uncle, and you can find Bigfoot in the undead nightmare DLC) I would 100% recommend playing RDR1, it was my favourite game since I was a child until RDR2 came out.

Basically the reason Dutch is wounded in the final cutscene was that you were originally supposed to shoot him during a firefight in the cave and even choose to kill or arrest him at the top. 2020年7月3日 · I think Dutch was spot on in RDR1 when he said it was his nature to fight. He's compelled to fight against power. And he wants that fight to be known, which is his personality. In his fight against power he found natural allies in the power-less, the dispossessed, the downtrodden, the disenfranchised.
