E. Honda is a character that alternates between rushdown, mixups, and extreme turtling to play him effectively. While he is nigh unbeatable when he's up close and personal, he has a hard time getting in from a distance, and lacks the tools to play from afar.

E. Honda is a poke and throw character based in high damage hits and turtling at the same time. However, being a heavy char with limited speed and jumping capabilities, Honda suffers from the same problem as some other CE chars: he lacks a zoning move and a proper anti-air attack, which makes him a low-tier.

E.Honda is a decent character in Hyper Fighting based on turtling and poking strategies, with some good matches, but also some bad ones, particularly against characters with projectiles (the Ryu matchup is very bad).

Honda debuted with some incredibly bizarre (and unique) moves that made him stand out... notably his flying headbutt & hundred hand slap. His gravity defying moves definitely turned heads at arcades, making him an Instant Icon! lol.

E. Honda Honda is a bit of an oddball in this game -many players prefer the new version of him since his new throw move is very good, but others would rather play as the old version due to him having better normal punch and kick moves.
