The E182CC is a special quality computer grade double triode. The design is optimised for maintaining emission after long periods under cut-off conditions. The long triode sections with heat radiators on the copper supports of the control grids.

2006年3月6日 · I use a E182CC as a input tube for my SE EL34 amp and absolutely love the sound. I have tried 5687s and 7044s but prefer by far the E182CC/7119. Try one and see what you think. If we only used tubes that were "recommended" for audio we would be ignoring some great sounding tubes.

The 7119 / E182CC is a Special quality double-triode initially designed for use in mission critical circuits and now used in audio. For example, the E182CC application is utilized in the legendary Black Shadow 845 mono-block power amplifier Delivering 25 watts in pure Class A.

2011年3月27日 · E182CC = 7119, which is similar to the ECC99 but with different 5687-style pin-out. Also, E182CC has a 12.6V filament that can also be wired to use 6.3V. 5687 is an American type, very similar to 6N6P electrically, but with a different pin-out (same pin-out as E182CC or 7119, also 12.6V/6.3V filament).

Regardless of the branding (Amperex, Valvo, Siemens, Calvert etc) the Holland made 7119=E182CC (although not a direct substitue but similar to 12BH7 with a 10,000 heater) is a premium quality twin triode. An excellent substitute for the 7044, 5687 and 6900. Perfect for the following equipment: Modwright preamp. Audio Note: DAC 4, Jinro amp, L3, M3.
