You'd need to swap a lot more than just the driveline. You'd need the front subframe, struts (extremely expensive), and you'd need additional clearance in the transmission tunnel.

I've seen turbo awd E30s, but only one swap M50 type engine. Even the front subframe is different. If you wanted to keep the E30 AWD system, you'd have to keep the trans/etc. But that would require so much fabrication that it isn't worth it. TLDR: Shit takes up too much space.
