2009年9月24日 · The M50 powered 525 is a little peppier than the M20 but still doesn't have the torque or reliability of the M30. All else equal I'd choose the M30 over any other powerplant available in an E34, including the V-8s. My opinion is from from personal experience with with all these engines not regurgitating what others have said.

I have been told it is, namely the computer has to be changed as does the wiring harness and apparently it has to be mated to security system. All sounds too hard. I should imaging that somebody has done it and can advise me accordingly.
