Dec 29, 2023 · Using pump part number 1-315-559 (S38B38) with E34M5 S38-B36 pump pulley part number 1-315-202 which is 102mm it improves cooling rotational efficiency. This applies for E34M5 S38-B38 owners. Conclusion: The S38B38 set up runs hotter than the S38B36 due to the 112mm pulley and why on every S38B38 I upgrade the pulley to S38-B36.

Oct 22, 2004 · Installing oil lines from the pan to the SC was a challenge. Unlike other cars, where the pan just pops off, the E34M5 requires that the engine be unbolted and lifted to access the pan. That’s a chore. One alternative was to use a magnetic drill, which would capture the shavings, then insert the oil lines. But the pan was aluminum.

Nov 14, 2014 · I have a 93 E34M5 Touring. I am attempting to sort out all of the wiring issues while I have the car apart. It has been a frustrating experience to say the least. I am experienced when it comes to wiring. I have done many cars; splicing and complete harness transplants. The most important item to have is accurate wiring schematics.

Mar 7, 2004 · does anybody know of of any company that sells an intake system for the e34m5? when i bought the car the previous owner had removed half of the airbox removed and found a kandn filter tofill the hole.to replace the airbox the dealer wants 381 dollars for the part plus tax. with all the systems...

A more balanced ratio -- from the drag racers perspective -- can be achieved by introducing a higher differential ratio, roughly approximated by the formula (311/266) X 3.91 = 4.57 or (311/266)X3.73 = 4.36, depending on which gear ratio one has now.

These articles were scanned by amongst others myself to be shared amongst the community; I did a random check between a few files on your site and the pdf extracted jpg files from my originals and discovered that they are identical.
