A key with no remote unlock is $60 and with the remote lock control is $80. You have to show a photo ID and proof of ownership for the car before they will order, then it takes about 4 days.

2011年4月22日 · This is a system whereby there is a very small chip in the ignition key. There is a EWS antenna ring around the ignition tumbler. The DME is paired with the key and the EWS module. When the proper key is inserted, the antenna receives the signal from the key chip, it is sent to a unit that amplifies the signal.

2004年8月15日 · My sister's in the car in question and I'm on the other side of town from her but she clarified that the key in not spinning freely, it's stuck in one spot. It can be pulled out of the ignition but the engine keeps running. I finally had her pull the fuel pump fuse, which finally killed the motor. Problem solved...until tomorrow morning, of course.

2009年4月10日 · The cylinder spins sometimes before engaging and allowing me to start the car. What happened is I turned the key to the off position and pulled it out, like normal, but the engine kept running. When I put the key back it, I could not turn it either way. I had to stall the engine to turn it off. Now, since the key won't turn, I can't start it.

The key still worked glued, but when I removed the cas and took it to the key guy, after I came back and put everything back the ignition cylinder seemed to lock.

The car has EWS 1 so no RF chip in the key. I've searched every source I can think of. No luck... Where can I find this code...

2005年7月17日 · The Key rotated forward as if it was going to start and then just locked into place. The console, radio, fan, locks, sunroof, everything is working but the car just won't start and now I can't rotate the key. It's like the ignition switch is locked into place. I can pull the key in and out, but it will not rotate.
