However, you'll have to find out where the ews module is located on the E38 (may not be in the same place as the E34) and you'll have to look for a non-ews DME for the E38's engine from another car with the same engine, but without the EWS built into the ecu.

( My guess is 2 or 3Gs ) so what can you get for that kind of money certainly not a 70 thousand $ vehicle.
