2019年5月6日 · I personally advise you to just get the e39 ECM, but I know a few others now that were able to get the e39a to work for them. As for my car, it is now running great on both e85 and 93. Bottom line.... these new ECMs, while similar, are very different from their LS brethren.

2022年12月2日 · To properly set up a new ECM, you need SPS2, which you can get a single VIN license for, for $40. BUT, you also need a J2534 compliant device, of which none of the MPVIs are. You can get a low cost J2534 device from DashLogic (DashBridge CX). That's the lowest cost one I know of.

2013年9月21日 · When I initially started looking into the common problems of the E39 vs E46 nothing came up of transmission woes, but when I search for E39 transmission problems I get more than I care to read. So, my question is: Are the E39 autos as reliable as any other manufacturers autos?
