2021年1月22日 · With DME ews delete tune, it no longer needs authorization from the ews to provide injection and spark plug. EWS (not DME) manages the starter.

2023年9月30日 · Hey guys i have a 2002 bmw e46 318i n42 engine, id like some help my deleting ews system, would be very grateful for some assistance on what i need or something. I really wouldn't recommend that route unless absolutely necessary. Easier fixes generally exist for BMW.

2019年8月23日 · 2000 E46 328i 1) The EWS, when set to automatic, will not let you start the car when the gear lever is not in P or N. Most people just short the correct contacts when converting to manual to avoid reprogramming the EWS.

2017年11月28日 · I bought the EWS module from BMW for $250 + tax programmed based on my VIN. I was told they will preprogram it and I will need to align the EWS to the DME when replacing it. I was prepared with an AK90+ key programmer, INPA, NCS-Expert and WinKFP in case I need to enable the keys, align EWS to DME, code the EWS or update the DME firmware.

2018年7月15日 · Once you make your dme ews free you need to place a jumper on 2 brown wires that are going to ews. Just connect them together at the back of the plug. After that your car will start. If this is a race car just remove the ignition switch and EWS entirely.
