2009年9月9日 · We've been through the ITB road in the past. Having Dbilas dynamic install a set on our track car with highly tuned engine. The ITB's gained less than 10 hp. They do give outragous throttle response. They also enable you to use very wild camshafts and still getting enough air to the engine.

This is a complete bolt on kit that will fit m54 bmw engines. Kit is supplied with standard m50/42/44 cable attachment that will fit both LH and RH drive vehicles. Drive by wire throttle operation is not supported and stand alone engine management will be required.

This kit will allow for the installation of OEM BMW Individual Throttle Bodies on a M54 Engine using 3D-printer adapters, brackets, and modified OEM parts. The installation will use the OEM MS43 Engine Control Unit and minimal changes to the wire harness, any changes will be made with plug-and-play adapters.

2021年8月8日 · To start with, you'll need an S54 to M54 adapter plate. This allows the ITBs to be butted to the head. Speak to Hopwood motorsport. Then you'll need some S54 ITBs. Get on ebay or M3 breakers. With mine I'm running a gravity performance headers and custom exhaust, a DKM stage 1 clutch, and for bonus points velocity stacks.

2023年4月26日 · I've done this before, on ITB engines, with good results. Alternatively, you could build an airbox (i.e. plenum), and put a MAF on the inlet of the airbox. But that would turn your ITB intake into a common plenum intake.

2021年9月5日 · If you do indeed want a drive-by-wire ITB setup, your only option appears to be the induction system from the S 54, the E46 M3's engine. Despite its designation, the S54 is not based on the M54 so the parts don't bolt up directly.
