Just sold E39 M-5 and bought an E500 wagon. I say test drive the AWD; the performance is in the high 6's for 0 - 60. Again adequate! Great balance of power and space; compared to the 528i, this wagon is definitely "more" car; mileage for my first 5,800 miles is an overall 17.5 combined.

My 2001 BMW 525 at sport wagon is a great wagon/sports car. Like the BB 320 the 525 six has enough power for my taste. Lastly, my 2000 Subaru Outback Lad is also a great wagon and does all things well. So, therefore it follows that I must order a 2003 E320 4matic as my next wagon. My dealer says order taking will commence in spring 2002. Who knows.

2025年2月5日 · I went in to the office on this snowy day here, my 4Matic wagon on Blizzaks didn't miss a beat. I actually look forward a little to driving in snow, although I enjoy it infinitely more when there are few others on the road - I left just a little early today to avoid traffic, and it was a nice drive in this weather arriving later than normal.

There is a blue P1800 Station Wagon in a driveway near my home in Davis, Calif. Everything is there and the car looks original. The tires are inflated. But it has not moved in the last 5 years at least. Only the front oval grill is missing. If anyone is interested I can get the contact information.

I used to have a 2003 TDI which had the ALH (pre-PD) engine. It was trouble-free, and I got ~40 mpg. Now I drive a 2010 TDI Sportswagen which gets about 43 mpg (and climbing), and its 2l CR engine provides a lot more power than the older ones.
