It’s stuck closed but seems like it makes the car think it’s open. The rear cargo lights don’t light up and I don’t get a trunk open warning when driving, so it also seems like the car knows it’s closed at the same time..?

2015年4月24日 · If when you turn the rear wiper on you hear the motor moving, the sprung loaded pin attached to the wiper on the internal side of the glass may be a bit corroded and jammed. It slots into the hole of the motor within the boot lid when the hatch is closed. You can pull this out with pliers and free it up with a good spray of wd40 or similar.

2024年4月2日 · Just wanted to share how it looks to fix up the worn out wires for the rear hatch. Every wire was damaged and had to be resoldered to fix one light not receiving power. Got everything done DIY

2024年8月7日 · I have a fault on the tailgate on my pre-lci e91. I find that when I unlock the car using the key fob the glass section of the tailgate pops open. When I shut it over it pops open again. This can happen a number of times before it will stay closed. I also cannot open the full tailgate after this happens (I require the key fob to open the boot).
