LAFD is issuing a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Vanowen south to Burbank Blvd. County Lane Road east to E Valley Circle Blvd. This is an immediate evacuation order for all residents within this area.;

The 40 ground-based LAFD firefighters are finalizing control of the perimeter of the blaze with hand tools and hose lines. No final acreage estimate is available. No injury. No structures damaged. Fire cause under investigation.;

Los Angeles Firefighters quickly made their way up a narrow, winding road to 4008 Sumac Drive, off Beverly Glen Boulevard, at 12:02 a.m. Arriving firefighters found at least one room ablaze in the unoccupied house, which had two stories below ground level. An aggressive attack ensued and additional resources were immediately requested.

The first 31 LAFD personnel extinguished the fire in 21 minutes (3:15 AM), confining the flames to unit of origin. No reported injuries.

2013年1月21日 · There are only a few fully staffed 200-series engines left in the county, off the top of my head 216 (E9), 236 and 282. I may have missed one, but there used to be so many more that have been moved to new stations or to staff new units like E265 which became E89 and or like E241 which became Squad 41.

2024年11月5日 · Prior to LAFD shutting down the hydrant, water was hitting the roof of a commercial building (DBA Guitar Center) resulting in a partial collapse. No injuries reported in the building. LA Dept of Building and Safety notified to respond for building evaluation. Original 9-1-1 call received at 1:23PM.
