2023年10月17日 · Steam version will probably use the EA app anyway. But I bought it on steam because of the 10% discount for DR2.0 owners and it's the best platform anyway. Strange thing is, EA play was on the steam page as requirement, but now it's not there.

2022年10月22日 · Installed ea app from site and now I am able to launch the 2 games via ea app but still have the same issue via steam. Im hoping it won't need to be a fresh steam install and having to do a manual uninstall like the ea platforms, it's the only thing I haven't tried and I want to play these games ff I paid for them so not great product support.

2022年4月17日 · I recently bought PC GamePass and I wanted to download an EA Play title, but when I tried to download one, it tells me to get the EA Play subscription even though I have PC GamePass. I already tried logging out and logging back in, uninstall and reinstall the app, and i reset my computer multiple times but still said the same thing.

2022年4月7日 · I ended up giving up on the EA games app. I spent my free time over a day getting to the point of having a game downloaded, and now the game as well as the EA app won't even launch anymore, just start and crash immediately. I'll wait a year or two and try again.

2021年9月24日 · For me it seems to work properly by adding the game .exe directly, since it will use EA-Play/Origin to launch the game anyways. Tested with Switch Pro Controller. Ofcourse the button layout will be incorrect, since EA only supprts XBox Controllers (lazy, as usual of them).

2023年4月13日 · Task Manager > Processes > End Task: EA & EA Background Service (HARD REQUIREMENT) Open app again and then log out (3 small bars in the top left). Log back in and try downloading again. This is what worked for me and was really straightforward. If this doesn't work for others I'd advise restarting your pc/laptop BEFORE step 3 (reopening the app).
