SSST have a range of targeted professional learning development programmes available for all settings, across all phases (Early Years, Primary and Post Primary), designed to support settings with curriculum and assessment, quality of provision, staff development and leadership.

The SSST team supports staff in Specialist provisions in mainstream schools to improve outcomes for children and young people (CYP). Support is provided at pre and post set up level. This includes link, universal, targeted and specialist support for schools, parents and CYP.
Organising the program for a Challenge Area-related event (eg. a Unit night or camp) and leading the running of it, including arranging multiple activities. This may also include acting as a Project Patrol Leader for a Challenge Area-based project.
Review with administrator the timetables and schedules for EA’s. Review forms and referral processes & communicate these processes to all staff members. Update new staff members regarding programming and supports for students with intense needs. Share any priorities with staff as needed.
