Staves (erroneously called Staffs in EBF3's menus) are the type of weapons used by Natalie. While they can be used as bludgeoning weapons for physical attacks, their main purpose is to act as a conduit for the user's magic, allowing them to cast spells. Some staves also have innate magic that manifests as on-hit status effects or bonus skills.

The Crystal Staff is a fine day-to-day weapon, able to give Natalie's spells more punch than most of her other staves unless they can exploit their elemental boosts. In turn, it is surpassed by Hela's Staff, but it's much less frail due to a lack of defensive penalties and self-inflicted Curse.

2016年1月22日 · Hey guys, I drew the first set of weapons for EBF5! These are all remakes of weapons from EBF3 and EBF4 in the new art style. They’ve also all got an animated effect to them, which you’ll be able to see later. The next batch will have original staves!

2020年4月14日 · Here’s some more iconic video game weapons in the Epic Battle Fantasy 5 art style. Turns out that memorable staves are much rarer than swords, but I think I managed to find some cool ones. Which ones do you recognize?
