The Year of Play is a national celebration launched by Early Childhood Australia (ECA) in 2022 to raise the profile of play across the early childhood sector and promote diverse ways we can engage through play.

Additionally, they suggest that all educators lead and be articulate in their advocacy of play-based pedagogies for children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
