2010年2月3日 · This relay fails, causing the engine to shut down. Nissan doesn't sell the relay, so you have to purchase a new IPDM, at a cost of about $125.00 and up. Most of the time only the ECM relay is bad. The relay plugs in, and a common fix is to swap the fog light relay with the ECM relay to get going again. You can get the relays from the link below.

2010年2月14日 · Switching the ECU (ECM) Relay with the Fog Light Relay will tell you if the ECU Relay was the culprit, and get you where you are going. It is the Relay that they updated. Although a new IPDM P/N exist, we haven't found any evidence that the design inside the board was changed, though the Relay has been.

2018年10月4日 · Swapping the 'front fog light relay' for the 'ECU relay' is a TEMPORARY FIX as the 'front fog light relay' is lacking a protective diode found in the ECU relay (Nissan p/n 284B7-CW29E). I did the swap in my 2005 Titan tonight which wouldn't start and it started immediately after the swap, confirming the ECU relay is at issue.

2017年2月20日 · After going through all the suggestions as it relates to replacing the ECM, fuel pump, cleaning the Mass Flow Air Filter Sensor, the IPDM, and almost redoing the catalytic converter and throttle body, it turns out that my problem was a bad connector on the crankshaft sensor, which was the reason for throwing the code.

2021年3月23日 · I swapped the ECM relay for the Fog Lamp relay. I replaced the ECM Relay (Original Part labelled ACM33211 M13, replaced with 284B7-CW29E, $6 from Amazon: ECM Relay) I tested, then replaced my battery, though it tested good, it was a little on the low side and the auto parts store was willing to swap it out under warranty.

2013年7月22日 · ECM relay changed but same result? *UPDATE* My wife was driving her 2005 Armada when suddenly it turned off on the highway. Luckily, she was already on the far right about to exit. Read up on the ECM relay issues and the voluntary recall, so I took it this morning (it started to my surprise) to the dealer to get it replaced.

2010年12月3日 · The ECM (Engine Control Module) relay is simply a plug-in relay. The IPDM (Integrated Power Distribution Module) is the board that several major (including the ECM) relays & fuses plug into. Unfortunately the recall is ONLY for the ECM relay, & you can simply remove & replace the ECM without replacing the IDPM or any other fuses/relays.
