The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) is a national youth soccer developmental league in the United States. It was founded in 2009 as a girls' league and added a boys' league in 2017.

US Club Soccer is proud to sanction the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) as a top, league-based platform for both girls and boys players. The ECNL was founded in 2009 as a challenge to the status quo of youth soccer, with a vision to be better. In its first years, the league supported only girls programming, but that was to change.

In 2009, the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) was established, challenging conventional norms in youth soccer with a bold vision for excellence and innovation. Initially supporting only girls’ programming, the league has since expanded, driven by grassroots collaboration and the relentless efforts of youth soccer leaders nationwide.

The four letters “ECNL” have become the embodiment of collaborative innovation, opportunity, respect, development, and excellence in youth soccer, as the once-radical idea of clubs having a voice to determine their future proved to produce results never before seen in youth soccer.
