2024年12月11日 · LITTLE ROCK, Ark. —The governor announced Wednesday that the Arkansas Economic Development Commission is investing $10 million in 13 Arkansas communities for industrial site development. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the funding would enhance industrial sites to provide readiness for economic development projects, including job creation.

While each community is unique, most communities in Arkansas have opportunities to become more competitive in one or more of the four key pillars. In an effort to help communities become more attractive for investment and jobs, the Competitive Communities Initiative evaluation program has been developed.
