Earth Defense Force 5 departs from the continuity established by Earth Defense Force 2017 and Earth Defense Force 2025/4.1, and is set in a new continuity where the Earth Defense Force sees action for the first time in the year 2022. Earth Defense Force aka EDF has TWO games for PS4 and both are super EPIC. edf 4.1 and the more recent EDF 5. ~The gun mechanics are super addicting. You drop in missions. SOme short some longer. You get difficulties and get rewards based upon what difficulty. ~~The best part of ALL EDF games = Enemies randomly drop 3 crates.
