2011年10月11日 · In dealing with some recent performance and economy issues, I have run across mention in several places of either an EGR valve or EGR solenoid being used on the SOHC N/A EJ25 in 1999. Can anyone confirm which of these is correct? I have my suspicions as to what the answer is, but could use a second set of eyes on it.

2018年12月3日 · I'm doing a 1.8L to 2.5L swap (EJ253 block with EJ251 pistons and '97-'99 heads, shim over bucket). I was mounting the heads this evening I noticed the EGR port on the drivers head which i completely forgot about...doh. Unfortunately I don't have an EGR bolt/pipe laying around. Can anyone tell me the thread pitch and size needed to block this off?

2018年6月1日 · You can also install the EGR intake manifold - and just run a hose from the EGR port on the drivers side to the IAC hose on the passengers side (install a T-fitting there) and you won't get a check engine light and no need to drill the block.

2016年10月25日 · Had to replace the motor in my sons 2003 Baja EJ25 w/ Auto. Couldn't afford a complete reman and ended up looking at long block Ej25's online where I found a motor and the seller did head milling, gaskets, and compression tests.

2018年1月18日 · i've done it. it's not necessary for running or performance. you'll have to make a block off plate for the EGR port and plug the threaded hole or cut and weld a ball inside the EGR pipe.
