Rapido is proud to announce the EMD SD7, SD9 and SD10 locomotives! The SD7 was General Motors Electro-Motive Division’s first foray into 6-axle power. The “SD” stood for Special Duty, while the 7 was carried over from the 4-axle GP7 series.

The EMD SD10 is a series of American diesel locomotives that were rebuilt from EMD SD7 and SD9 diesel locomotive, much like their four-axle variant, the GP10, the latter of which, the GP10s were rebuilds from GP7s and GP9s.

2023年10月16日 · At least Rapido is doing versions with variations that haven’t been done by Walthers. And I’m sure Milwaukee modelers will be happy to have a SD10 available, provided Rapido doesn’t botch it. I think the SD10s will be very well received. Its a model that fills a gap in plastic for sure. I dont need one but the DME looks very tempting!
