The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is a New York State program designed to admit students who do not meet the traditional standards for admissions but have the desire, potential and talent to earn a college degree. Students admitted through EOP must demonstrate both financial and academic disadvantages.
Income Eligibility - SUNY Morrisville
To be eligible for admission to the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), you must be: A New York State resident for 12 months prior to enrollment; Require special admissions consideration; and Qualify as economically disadvantaged according to the guidelines.
EOP Criteria - California State University, Northridge
EOP applicants must be highly motivated, historically low-income, educationally disadvantaged, first-generation college students (parents have not completed a four-year college degree, siblings do not count). EOP applicants must also meet the income guidelines described below.
