The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) at RCC was created to help recruit, retain and assist low-income and educationally disadvantaged students by providing them with the tools and resources to achieve in college — single parents and foster children can also benefit from the CARE and NextUp EOPS supplemental programs.

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state-funded program serving students who face economic, language, social, and/or educational barriers. EOPS assists students to attain their educational and career goals as they prepare to enter an increasingly technological and multicultural society.

EOPS and CARE are support programs that provide “Over and Above” services to help keep students on the path to achieving their educational goals.
