2019年4月20日 · I prefer the larger front-passive AMT Monitors, but just a preference, I am a fan (and owner). The heil tweeter is excellent and there are things that you can do to improve the already good response from the rest of the speaker, but listen to them first to see if you need to.

2011年1月18日 · Last year I picked up a pair of ESS AMT-1D speakers at a thrift. They needed some cosmetic TLC (still haven’t finished that). The passive radiators were gone, only the rings were left. Took them home, ordered as set of radiators, fixed them, and began listening to them. I loved the Heil tweeters, nice clear top end. But the bass was lacking.

Up for sale are a set of ESS AMT 1D speakers. If you’re interested in these, you probably know exactly what the ESS slogan "Sound as clear as light" means! These are the Heil Air-Motion Transformer Loudspeaker System. I bought these back in 1985 from Paragon Sound in Toledo.

2024年6月4日 · They are 'claiming' that the new bass driver is very fast and keeps up with the AMT. I guess the only way to see if that's true is to order one and try it for a month.
