The ETK provides a universal ECU interface for sophisticated applications in the development and calibration of engine and transmission ECUs. The Ethernet based ETK interface provides long-term stability and downward compatibility.
ECU interfaces: ETK / FETK / XETK | ETAS
The ETAS Ethernet-based ECU interfaces ETK, FETK, and XETK provide direct access to the measurement variables and control parameters of an ECU. Access is enabled via the parallel data and address bus, or via a serial microcontroller testing or debugging interface.
XETK – XCP-compliant ECU Interface - ETAS
ETK and XETK differ in the way the connection between ECU and host application is set up. ETK-ECUs are connected to the PC by means of an interface module which provides for protocol handling. In contrast, XETKs implement a full functional Ethernet interface on board to facilitate direct connection to the PC.
