2019年7月25日 · How can I turn on this layer to see topo on Earth Pro (desktop, Mac)? Or if not available on Pro, on the iOS app as an overlay? And be able to move the map around with it on? I want it to be persistent as I have a hard time perceiving the 3D rendered elevations. The topography makes it much more intuitive to see valleys and ridges.

Open Google Earth Pro. Go to a spot on the globe. In the menu bar, click Tools Ruler. A new "Ruler" window with options appears. In the bottom left, select Mouse Navigation. Click the tab for what you want to measure. On the map, hover over a spot and click a starting point for your measurement. Then, hover over another spot and click an end point.

2019年10月1日 · I've just installed Google Earth Pro, having been told id could switch to 2-D. I need to have vertical views (straight down) without "relief displacement" caused by elevational differences. But there seems to be no option for that. Please note: I'm not talking about 3-D buildings, nor about google maps.

2021年2月11日 · It seems there is only a catch-all "topography" checkbox that removes all 3D data besides buildings, which is incredibly frustrating, because any topographically accurate viewshed is made incredibly noisy by the rough tree and car interference. Is there any possible way to remove the 3D trees and cars, etc. without removing topography or buildings?

2024年1月28日 · That article also mentions the save image option which you can use if you want to save an image and print that rather than printing directly from Google Earth Pro. Alternatively you can save a pdf file and print that.
