2025年2月17日 · How are the EBO made Sar-8's that came in under Springfield rating in today's world compared to the newer rifles produced by PTR, and the other 7.62 NATO roller locker HK clones? What would be more desirable in your opinion, an EBO, PTR or other clone?

The Springfield SAR-8 in .308 was manufactured by Hellenic Arms Industry (EBO) and imported for Springfield Armory from 1990 to 1994. It is the exact HK-91 clone made with original H&K tooling. The import mark on the left side of the receiver reads “SAR-8 SPORTER / EBO GREECE / MADE IN GREECE”; this area is also marked with the serial number.

2025年2月20日 · I had the EBO SAR-8 with the "pressed on" type of faux flash suppressor. I sent it to Jayson Cotter (Before he lost it) and he converted to a G3K with a long FH bringing the OAL to 16". He did a great job.
