2023年11月1日 · Simply put: Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Batch C923 is an amazing bourbon. Like any amazing bourbon, its greatness is the result of a flavor profile that comes together (near) flawlessly. Out of the gate C923’s nose is full of rich caramel and wonderfully fruity notes that come across more like sangria than a bourbon.

2023年10月4日 · This is why my mouth began to salivate when I saw that C923 was bottled at 133.0 proof. This would be the hottest proof for an ECBP release since C920. In fact, it would be the fourth highest proof out of all new label ECBP batches – dating back to January 2017. Of course, the age was nothing to sneeze at either.

Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Batch C923 could be the brand’s best batch yet. The hard burn and focused bourbon sweetness feel like sipping molten caramel, with only bare hints of red fruit. If the ECBP series could have even at least one batch like this per year, it would be a red letter day in the bourbon world.
