2021年8月14日 · I'm not yet familiar with the USIP devices, and agree that they MUST have an industry standard CLI like Edgemax devices had, and they MUST support VLANs. I'd also prefer having the same management capabilities of the EdgeSwitch and EdgeRouter models (i.e. ES-24-250W, ES-16-150W, ES-8-150W and ES-24-Lite).

2021年2月2日 · I don't have an Edgemax router, but I did a little research. Please look into adding a Pseudo-ethernet interface to your Starlink WAN interface. Place the IP address 192.168.100.2/24 on the Psedo-ethernet interface.

2021年7月12日 · The EdgeMax line is not EoL, it’s the only powerful routing equipment in their whole lineup. Speaking of routers, there‘s no need for short hardware cycles. The current firmware 2.x is working great, they fixed security issues a few weeks ago, so no updates needed. It’s a bit unclear what they are going to do with the UISP hardware line.

2021年5月5日 · Seems EdgeMax development has come to a complete stall. Last release was "v2.0.9-hotfix.1 security update", almost 4 months ago. Before that, version "v2.0.9" was released 6 months ago, which finally listed a fix for the packet reordering issue which plagued the software for ages (disabling but one of the cores workaround notwithstanding).

The edgemax stuff still works and is available mostly. But it is being left alone while the new UISP is being built. UISP now integrates into a few other platforms like airMax for a single management console.

Hello, I'm a newb at this and have an EdgeRouter-X running the EdgeMAX UI. The interface is very overwhelming for me and I am not finding any easy guides to block an external IP. I have a problem user in my house that is constantly on a multiplayer video game (LoL) that I wish to block the IP(probably a couple) and am not able to understand much.

2022年10月2日 · This made EdgeMAX better suited for WISPs, ISPs, and other professional network users, who preferred it over the controller-based architecture and limited networking features of UniFi. Many used both EdgeMAX and UniFi, and hoped they would merge. I never agreed with that — to me, they are two incompatible styles, aimed at two different uses.
