The composer Edvard Grieg lived here with his wife, singer Nina Grieg. Grieg is the most famous and internationally acclaimed Norwegian composer. Troldhaugen was opened as a museum in 1928 and is today a place of pilgrimage for Grieg lovers from all over the world.
