beam-beam impose and how can the other parameters be optimized to increase the luminosity. FCC-ee has unique features (large Piwinski angle and beamstrahlung) that significantly affect the beam dynamics. New types of beam-beam instability were found in simulations, and then mitigated by proper selection of parameters.
The FCC-ee should achieve highest possible luminosities over a wide range of beam energies, from 35 GeV to ≈200 GeV, supporting extremely high precision tests of the standard model as well as unique searches for rare decays.
efficient management of the FCC-ee lattice and conversion between different codes; new beam-beam simulation tools that can be integrated into the software framework; a overhaul of existing optics and tracking tools to ensure that they are fit for simulations with high synchrotron radiation.
Inverse Compton scattering of laser radiation on the electron beam provides accurate calibration of the bending force. Due to scattering kinematics, the beam energy determination is based on the laser wavelength together with accurate mea-surement of the ratio of deflection angles.

2023年6月13日 · The FCC-ee optics varies with the beam energy so as to allow for a common IR layout at all energies. The flexibility of the IR optics is obtained by splitting the first quadrupole into three segments and by modulating their sign and strength according to the beam energy.

For the accelerator-based future of high energy physics at the energy frontier, CERN started to investigate a 92 km cir-cumference Future Circular Collider (FCC), as e+/e−collider the FCC-ee will operate at beam energies up to 182.5 GeV.
In this paper we study beambeam effects in the presence of energy spreading and bunch lengthening due to beamstrahlung. Beamstrahlung, namely synchrotron radiation emitted during the beam-beam collision [1], can be an important ef-fect for circular high-energy lepton colliders such as FCC-ee (TLEP) [2] and CepC [3].

This report presents the stored beam energy and analytical estimations for the energy density of the FCC-ee beams, considering a range of beam sizes, and compares them with the LHC and HL-LHC beams. Then, energy deposition of the generic scenario of a direct beam impact on a graphite target with nominal material density is simulated using FLUKA.
