Ef (stylized as EF) is a post-rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Using little vocals, they feature a wide variety of instruments. Their debut album Give me beauty... Or give me death! was released in May 2006 on their own label And The Sound Records (ATS Records). They had several tours with around 400 shows in various European countries.

EF Band (short for Ericsson Fisher Band) was formed by Pär Ericsson (bass) and Bengt Fisher (guitar, vocals), who in 1975 had played in the jazz rock band Epizootic. The band (which was better known in the UK than in Sweden) went through many member changes over the years and disbanded in 1987.

Despite being of Swedish origin, the band relocated to Britain in 1979 and is associated with the NWOBHM movement. They split up in 1987 when Andy LaRocque left and joined King Diamond.
