On 15 June 2021, Iceland‘s Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir and Foreign Minister Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarson, visited EFTA House in Brussels, the new home of the EFTA Secretariat, the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) and the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO).

On 8 and 9 February 2022, the EFTA Parliamentary Committee (EFTA PC) convened at the new EFTA House in Brussels under the Chairmanship of Ms Ingibjörg Ólöf Isaksen, Member of the Icelandic Parliament.
