2021年1月9日 · I am looking for a new BMS. I am switching from a 12v setup to 48v and just purchased an EG4 3kW off grid inverter. I currently have 24 280ah cells and 6 JBD 4S BMS's. The EG4 will replace my Midnite Classic 150 and Xantrax SW3012. Yes I know I need 8 more cells to make two 48v batteries in parallel.

2024年12月28日 · Many people ignore the SOC percentages and use voltages instead, to trust what their battery state is. If charging or discharging current is small, then it's likely the BMS is losing track of the SOC whenever current is below a measurement threshold.

2022年7月1日 · The bms from the master battery takes over that setting when in EG4 mode. It's a safe bet that the battery chemistries are not quite matched up with such different cycle counts. If you have a stand alone battery charger, I would recommend charging the batteries individually to max and go through the deep cycle process with them(in use mode).

2024年11月14日 · I have multiple Gobel Power 48 volt batteries that use Pace BMS (200 amp) and was wondering if anyone knows what RS485 protocol the FlexBOSS 21 should be set to for proper battery comms. Also, CANBUS protocol settings if that's used instead.

2025年1月4日 · I had changed the setting on the BMS Config page which said 15S for the battery configuration to 16S and that bounced the battery(rebooted) but also showed grossly incorrect battery cell voltages. I quickly changed that setting back to 15S and saw the battery cells and information go back to reasonable numbers.
